Centro de Formación de Postgrado (CFP) is a university unit responsible for he area of continuing education. CFP has a long years experience in organising continuing education courses and programmes in the technological and business areas, e.g. civil engineering, computer engineering, telecommunications, industrial engineering, agronomic engineering and management. UPV organises more than 1.000 courses per year. CFP has a continuous growing on the number of teachers and students involved on the system. A big part of these courses are open distance learning and e-learning courses. The experience of CFP in ODL is focused on traditional distance learning methods, and applied to develop materials available via the Internet, including communication between student and tutor via email and news software. CFP has been involved on several ODL and e-learning projects with big institutions. CFP is a member of several international associations active in continuing education (e.g. SEFI, EUCEN, IACEE) and is also very well positioned in Latin America through the RECLA network.
