Croatian Academic and Research Network CARNet primarily provides an ICT infrastructure and connectivity to Internet for Croatian universities and scientific institutions. In order to encourage the use of the built infrastructure, one of the CARNet’s strategic goals is improvement of higher education by applying ICT. Therefore CARNet has established a number of services in the area of e learning such as E-learning Academy, Reference centres for e-education and Edupoint Journal, etc. Its goals are to provide education, support and information exchange for university professors.
